So we finally moved in to our house and here are some of the kids that came to help us!
Here is the container trying to back in to our driveway...guys were out there with machetes chopping down tree branches so it would fit! At one point, a chainsaw even came out!

Backing up didn't seem to work for them so they decided to turn around and come forward, but the power lines were too short so the guys had to hoist them up with long sticks! One of them did come down however but we think it just got stretched out because everything still works. When the container was finally parked in the driveway it had taken 3 HOURS! They blamed it on a bad truck driver.
Here are some of the guys from church who came to help us unload the container. There were almost 40 people there!! Everyone we've met at church has been so friendly and welcoming.

Here are a group of guys carrying our fridge!
Here are some kids who got bikes from the donations that were sent over from the Granite Bay 1st Ward. Seth and Rebecca Hanson organized so much stuff to be sent over to their old friends here! We fit all of the donations in our container with our stuff.
Sister Sampson got a sewing machine and was so excited!
So did Sister Johnson

Here is one room at church full of donations like clothing, toys, books, games, toiletries, etc.
And another room full! Everyone in GB was so generous!

Cool!!! Are those your dogs?
Hi guys! Looks like things are moving right along. I love hearing updates from you and seeing all of the cool pictures & beautiful scenery. Hope everything is going well for you there! :-)
Wow - what a "moving" experience. It must have been awesome to have all the support from your new ward, and how great that the Granite Bay ward was so generous. It's humbling to see the generosity, and the appreciation, of so many!
I LOVE seeing your updates! How great to be making so many friends, and it's obvious that they're happy to have you there. Be sure to tell those of us who will visit you what we can bring as donations to the ward members. We'll be looking at the end of March to come for a visit--Peder's spring break is then. Congrats on getting moved in and blessing so many. Very cool!
What an awesome experience. No wonder you love it there! Ditto for what Suzi said. We are going to try to come over in January. Let us know what we can bring. Or...what we can send in the meantime. Can't wait to feel the experience with you!
I love your house! And what helpful neighbors! Wow. Makes Vegas seem unfriendly and unhelpful.....
Anyway, I need a favor. Will you or Matt email me Matt's mom's phone number or give her my number? And then let her know that I want to talk to her about her adoption experience? I would really love to talk to someone who has been through it with an older child from another country...... That would be great. Thanks!
That is so cool all the donations!! You guys ust be so excited to have your stuff!!
Matt you look like a fuzzy teddy bear with that hair! CUTE!
